Hi thank you for visiting my website.

My name is Natalie Hills and I am the girl behind Hills Girl Pottery.

What first started as a dream of learning how to make pottery in July 2024 has grown into a fulltime passion allowing me to attend local markets with my pieces. I make and fire all my pottery at my home studio in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I also have a bookkeeping business that I work at fulltime. Having a creative side business is great for mental health and taking time to slow down and enjoy the processes. I am grateful for both.

I make functional pottery that you can use in your home every day or can be shared with friends as that perfect handmade gift.

I enjoy making a variety of items like mugs, bowls, spoon rests and jewelry dishes. I love pastel colors and creating a canvas of beautiful pieces that catch your eye when you see me at a market.
